Many of us aspire to develop a daily yoga practice. Maybe you'd like to get up every morning and show up at the studio for their sunrise yoga class, or commit to a Vinyasa Flow session every Friday, yet you may find yourself sticking to it for a little bit, and then having to prioritize other things in your life.
I get it. You have loads of things going on in your life and going to a physical studio is sometimes inaccessible or just plain impossible, and even though taking care of yourself is a priority, it is often put aside.
A great solution to this problem is to try to practice virtual yoga!
Unfortunately, when I talk to folks, many say that they don't want to practice yoga online because what they seek is to get out of their house, and the community aspect. While I agree and encourage you to hit your local studio whenever you get a chance, I want you to consider the value of learning to make your yoga practice accessible to yourself anywhere, anytime.
When I started practicing yoga, over 15 years ago, going to a studio quickly proved difficult for me due to my schedule, how much I travel, and my finances, so I quickly turned to the internet to be able to continue to practice no matter what was going on in my life.
Not long after, when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that is often debilitating, I was immensely grateful to have developed a yoga practice beyond asana (the physical aspect of yoga). This experience taught me the importance of a yoga practice that’s adaptable and deeply personal.
To support those of us in need of some yoga and meditation that is convenient and adapts to our needs, here are a few ways in which you can practice with me with just a device and some internet.
My virtual yoga studio classes, both free online yoga classes and subscription-based ones, are designed to meet you where you are, offering classes, workshops, and retreats accessible with just a device and internet connection.
Whether you’re looking for a quick morning stretch, a deep meditative session, or the connection of a retreat from the comfort of your home, I hope you find something that aligns!
